Localising Global Norms of Climate Change
WP5 is jointly implemented by researchers and civil society actors. We focus on the ways in which disadvantaged local communities struggling to adapt to global norms make sense of and emotionally relate to global narratives, norms, and policies of climate change. We carry out semi-structured interviews, focus groups, councils (a non-hierarchical form of communication suitable for sharing experiences and feelings related to the effects of climate change) and other qualitative research methods with factory workers, other company employees and local residents.
