Veronika Frantová received her PhD in sociology from the Faculty of Social Sciences at Charles University in Prague. She has extensive expertise in civil society studies, cultural sociology, and culture wars. Methodologically, she specializes in qualitative research techniques, focusing mainly on critical discourse analysis. Veronika has participated in various research projects where she was responsible for conducting narrative and media discourse analysis. In addition to her research work, she is interested in linking social theory and sociological imagination with modern active teaching and learning methods. She applies this approach as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Science, Humanities, and Education at the Technical University of Liberec.
