Massimiliano Andretta
Massimiliano Andretta is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Pisa. He teaches courses on Political Science, Political Communication, and Political Participation. He serves on the editorial board of the journal "Participation and Conflict" and holds an executive role in the PhD program in Political Science at the University of Pisa. His research interests and publications primarily revolve around social, labour and environmental movements, as well as electoral campaigns and political communication.
His recent publications include: The Politicization Effect of the Environment Issue in Labour Claim-Making: The case of Italy (in Italian Political Science, 2024); Towards an ecological transition from below: insights from a workers' mobilization in the automotive sector (with Paola Imperatore, in Acta Politica, 2024), Un ambientalismo di Classe. Il caso della GKN (with Francesca Gabbriellini and Paola Imperatore, in Sociologia del Lavoro, 2023); Le trasformazioni del movimento ambientalista in Italia tra istituzionalizzazione e conflitto (with Paola Imperatore, in Polis, 2023), and Does Populism Get Viral?
