Nikos Saridakis
Nikos Saridakis is a Research Fellow at the Scuola Normale Superiore and a Research Associate at the Center for Political Research - Panteion University. His research focuses on far-right politics, social movements, online extremism, and hate speech. As part of Work Package 6 (WP6) of the CIDAPE project, he conducts deliberative focus groups in various regions of Italy to explore citizens' perceptions of climate protest events. His doctoral thesis investigates the underlying factors driving far-right violence in Southern Europe and is fully funded by the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (ELIDEK). He holds a BA in Political Science and Public Administration from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and an MA in Comparative Politics from Sciences Po, Paris. In addition to his involvement in the CIDAPE project, he also collaborates on the DeMoLISH and CRITIC research projects.
